Since my founding of the organization in 2021, I've dedicated myself to addressing the inequalities that have long existed. Our mission reflects our belief that it’s time for our tax dollars to empower our communities, redirecting funds that have historically been withheld. Sustainable Future For Young Black Men In Construction
At United Black Contractors, we honor a rich heritage that stretches back to the 14th Century, when African expertise first shaped America's construction landscape. For four hundred years, Black men have excelled as General Contractors, Civil Engineers, and Architects, significantly contributing to our nation’s infrastructure. Unfortunately, systemic barriers have led to the exclusion of Black professionals from the industry. We are committed to reestablishing our rightful place in construction, championing equity and excellence, as we believe a capitalist society fundamentally relies on the strength of its builders.
