Capacity Building

Capacity is very vital for black contractors. Black Contractors do exist. Our goal is to identify who there are and provide the necessary tools to get them started perusing contracts. We provide services and resources to get them started on the right path.

Accessiabilty

United Black Contractors creates inroads to success for "Black Contractors." We provides accessibility to our members to meet with those individuals that have controlling interest in construction to build necessary relationships that will lead to success.

“Meet Moriah, a passionate advocate, public speaker and trailblazer dedicated to empowering survivors of sexual abuse. As the founder of My Sister’s Hands of Healing, a 501c3 nonprofit, she has devoted her life to serving women and children who have endured the trauma of sexual abuse. Her organization provides vital support, fostering healing and resilience.

In addition to her commitment to survivors, Moriah is a driving force for women's equity. Recognizing and challenging systemic barriers, she advocates tirelessly to break down obstacles hindering women's equality. Her belief in the transformative power of collective action fuels her efforts to create a more just and inclusive society.

Notably, Moriah actively contributes to the community as a board member of the United Black Contractors, working towards enhancing opportunities for underrepresented groups in the construction industry. As the President of Makazi Inc., she leads initiatives that promote cultural awareness and unity.

Moriah is more than a leader; she is a firm believer in the inherent strength of women. With a profound conviction that every woman possesses the power to effect change, she inspires others to recognize their beauty, resilience, and collective strength. Through her advocacy and leadership, Moriah is shaping a future where survivors find healing, systemic barriers are dismantled, and women stand together as beautiful and powerful forces of positive change.
